The Maghreban takes a sojourn through 70s Africa, ending up confused in a 1990s Home Counties rave on this sophomore release. Tribal psychedelia abounds, colonial Afro Rock space echoes ensue, giving way to a quirky stomper.

On the flip, The Maghreban pares down 'Casio' from his first 12" into some basic constituents and builds it into a slightly different animal, again ending up somewhere in the woodlands of Kent on a summer Saturday night 23 years ago, somewhat crestfallen.

There is more to come from The Maghreban yet, stay tuned.
